What is WHOIS IP lookup? How does it work?

Every IP address on the Internet is unique and has its owner. A WHOIS IP Lookup checks the given IP address (for example left by the website visitor) and compares it against Regional Internet Registry (RIR) to which that IP address belongs.

This shows the IP owner, owner's contact information (email, phone, etc.), owner's address, RIR, and more.
